# MCP tools

> Every tool the Cerulion MCP server lists, what it does, and what it reaches.

The Cerulion MCP server lists the tools below. Each tool's full description,
parameters and output schema come from the server itself (`tools/list`);
this page is generated from the same text. **Reach** is where a call can go:
`this machine only`, LAN discovery of other Cerulion hosts, a robot, or an
internet service. See [Connect an MCP client](/cerulion/guides/connect-an-mcp-client)
to install and configure the server.

| `graph_validate` | Validate graph | this machine only |
| `topic_echo` | Echo topic | this machine, plus LAN discovery of other Cerulion hosts unless no\_network is true |

## Hindsight bag analysis

In release binaries (the default `hindsight` feature). They read MCAP bags in the workspace, or download one from an `https://` URL over the internet first; `CERULION_MCP_DISABLE_HINDSIGHT=1` hides them.

## Cerulion Cloud (with `CERULION_CLOUD_API_URL` and `CERULION_CLOUD_TOKEN`)
